Here is my entry for Spirit Daaayyyy! <3

I changed my avatar's colors too for today. ;v; I now have a purple shirt on instead of blue <3

"Spirit Day is an international event to raise awareness of bullying and help prevent it in all forms. The day was started in 2010 as a response to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth who took their lives due to bullying. To get involved, paint your avatar purple, show support for your fellow deviants, spread the word, and submit your artwork to the gallery below to honor Spirit Day!"

I am completely okay with people expressing whatever sexuality they please. As long as they don't like...start making out in the public halls, or something. Keep that at home.

I am completely straight, always have been. In middle school, however, I was bullied for apparently being bisexual. It lasted for a few months until I took it up with counselors and eventually the principal, but the pain of being labeled something I wasn't still hurt. My corrections did not get through to the mean-spirited individuals that came around every class to place me in negative comments and make me feel trapped within their words. You don't really forget something like that. I even remember their names. I doubt they remember mine, though.

I got off rather lucky and unscathed compared to the people that actually were/are gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. I have never told anyone that story before, but I figured I'd share something that happened to me to fit with today.

I made my point that I am straight, and I finally gave up caring what people believed about me. I found happiness in knowing that my friends supported me whether I was straight or not.

Today, I am in a happy relationship that has lasted over a year and a half, and I know many people that are gay/lesbian/bisexual/etc. And I love them all. They have the ability to show their passion and not be afraid to do so.

AND IN THAT REGARD, HAVE A NICE, PURPLE ELLIOT.

I used like 1037484759 shades of purple.

Yeah freshman year some bitch tried to start a lesbian rumor about me... No one believed it, but it still pissed me off.
